ChiChi’s Preview & Prediction for Robredo v. Youzhny

This is a surface specific match. On clay Robredo has the edge. He can run around more forehands and make less errors due to comfort level and court speed. On hard, it’s different story. Especially a medium fast court. Youzhny should be able to utilize his well rounded game to keep Robredo off balance all match and force him to make more unforced errors than he’s used to. Robredo is an elite world class player without a doubt, but I’m skeptical about his wins due to retirement. Did his relentlessness cause these guys to retire or did they come into these matches with some prexisting problems? I will take the latter and I will take Youzhny to win in 4 sets 67 64 63 62.

Prediction: Youzhny over Robredo 6-7, 6-4, 6-3, 6-2.
