Kim has won something like 15 matches in a row at the open. She loves the speed of these courts. She hits the ball so clean. If you watch her follow through on her forehand you can see why players have so much difficulty competing against her. She truly finishes out to her target better than anybody on the women’s tour and the court helps it overwhelm you. Stosur is one of the most well rounded players on tour. She does so many things well. Her serve is heavy and so are her groundies, in addition she is not afraid to come in and volley. Stosur’s problem against Clijsters is that she’s dealing with a player that is not only technically sound, but very athletic and strong. She will be able to handle the load that Stosur brings on her shots and should be able to neutralize her serve enough to cause Sam to have to either force shots she’s not able to make consistenly or play too defensively. Pick your poison. Clijsters 75 62.

Good Try harsh. You were on the right track with Stosur in that she has the tools to hurt Clijsters but she just didnt have enough left in the tank at the end. I give her credit for hanging around after losing the first set and making it a battle.
