Chichi’s Rant
by Chichi, GEM Tennis
I am done predicting womens matches until we get to the nitty gritty matches of the round of 16 or possibly an earlier round match if it piques my interest. There is no way I can predict accurately what is going to happen to the women in these early rounds especially with the likes of that schizo Safina. Wow what a performance. Lets keep plugging along. Confident about tomorrow.

Chi Chi,
I like you, don’t get me wrong. But you can’t stop predicting right at the start of the last major of the year. What kinda move is that? Take a break. Grab a cup of coffee. Add a couple shots of espresso. But don’t bag your predictions. Who cares if your wrong? Not me. And, I bet other loyal readers don’t give a scratch if you’re wrong, either. Being right has merits, of course. However, walking out on those tiny branches of the ole elm tree in your back yard is way more exciting than curling up and shutting out the world. I agree that the women’s matches are wiggy. Look at those scores from Monday — check out Azarenka’s win. Like … huh?
Keep going Chi Chi. We’re right there with you.
