Dominant: Justine Henin

Belgian Justine Henin trounced Zheng Jie of China 6-1, 6-0. Henin used very aggressive tactics to crush the steady Jie. Time and time again Henin attacked at will until the match was over. Henin’s new attacking style seems to be the defining change in what she calls her “second career.”
FUTURE OUTLOOK: There is no question that Henin’s comeback has been a tremendous story and there’s also no question that she’s gained tremendous confidence while making her way through the tournament. Henin’s quick semifinal today will allow her to recover physically while Serena Williams competes in doubles and that should help the smaller Henin even up the play in the fitness department. However, Serena Williams is the #1 player in the world and she seems to be on a mission. Look for this final to be very high quality tennis and theater. Serena Williams in three sets.
