GEM Tennis is pleased to announce the addition of Cory Parr as GEM Tennis’ first professional tennis player’s blog. As Cory embarks on his journey to the world stage we’ll follow him step by step in his own words on his quest to become a champion on and off the court. GEM Tennis looks forward to the exciting, challenging, and unique view from Cory’s eyes on what it takes to make it as a professional tennis player and champion. Those who follow junior tennis and NCAA collegiate tennis in the United States are probably familiar with Cory and his successes, for those who haven’t heard about him the following list will familiarize you with his on court accomplishments thus far:

- Three time All-American at Wake Forest University (Singles: 2009, Doubles: 2008, 2009)

- 2008 ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) National Indoor Doubles Champion

- All time leader in singles and doubles victories in Wake Forest’s history

- Ranked as high as #10 in NCAA singles and #1 in NCAA doubles

- Selected to the 2009 USTA Summer Collegiate Team
