WIMBLEDON: THE BRITISH NATION AWAITS ITS CHAMPION

The only real match with some tense moments for the entire British nation was Scot and World #3 Andy Murray versus the American journeyman Robert Kendrick. The matchup produced some spectacular pressure on Murray and the 29 year-old Kendrick tried to serve his way to a major upset, but after four very competitive sets, the Scot overcame the entertaining American. Murray was just a little cleaner and consistent in his game then Kendrick. The American blasted and bashed his way to a second set victory to grab the attention of all tennis fans. In the third and fourth sets there were a few tense moments, but the American couldn’t continue his level of play at the big moments. Murray survived the test, 7-5, 6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-4 and next faces another big hitter, Latvia’s Ernst Gulbis in the second round. Enjoy this video of the highlights of the match!
